Our "GUARDIAN ANGEL"

Here's our guardian angel ZIVA.
Her in- bred nature is to be a 'guardian' dog and
not a working or guard dog.

It's instinctive to protect their 'flock ' or people that they belong to.
Ziva will drag her pillow or rug out of her dog house and sets it on
what she considers her territory/border. Which is right behind the cars
and then she sits there for a long time just watching and looking around.
When she's done she drags her pillow back by the kitchen door.
I had to take this pic through the kitchen window cause every time
I opened the door she'd come to see me. Funny eh?
We have a 4 month old pup that opens the door and lets herself in
and guards the yard!! Now if we could get her to shut the door.....

Here is Ziva's 4 month old pic. Turned 4 months same day as
Landon turned 4 years-Feb 2. Not very tiny is she?? See where
her head is above the arm rest now?
She really likes Lynn and sits by him when ever he's home
and sits down.

She's way too big for her lamb wool pad but she likes it anyway.

She's gotten her collar off 2x now so I think we'll have to get
her a bigger and stronger one. TaTa for now.

So this is what empty nesters do when their kids leave, get a new "child"? She is growing TONZ. Does she bark at people or anything to protect her turf? You going to get her spayed?

I had to laugh, because Chad is right. It is like you got yourself a new child.

Okay, she is totally bigger. If you scroll down and look at that first photo against dad's chair, you can see the major growth difference.

I don't understand the difference between a gaurdian dog and a gaurd dog. You wrote that her inbred nature is to be a gaurdian dog and not a gaurd dog.

What is that about?

Talk to you later!
